Up-dates stocks each class day. Add information on stocks to Template. One sheet for each company. Include all the dates, an appealing format and a chart. Word of the Day is OS - operating system What is the OS on your macbooks? What is the OS on room 33 Windows computers? Test on Charting for Orange Block. Do charting exercises on P. 319 #2 - get data from p. 228 Col. A and B p. 323 #7 and p. 324 #8 - get data from JHMper8 and do the exercises on Word for this problem. March
Black block will do much of last week's work due to the snow day and the short week then continue with lessons below.
Orange blocks will finish filling in their individual company templates and add charts. Class lesson on Company Profile information and citiing the source using MLA formatting and including a bibliography.. Directions for the Cover page for the Client Report Portfolio. Do this in MS Word and use a template or MS Publisher. |

Complete all the elements to the Stock Market Project. Finish profiles, cover page, analyst's summary for the client. Check for order of elements for the client portfolio, hole punch and put in the Notebooks on the table.

Wednesday: Handout this worksheet: PhotoShop Lesson on Composite Image (CS3). If students do a good job it will take this block and part of Friday Block. Friday: Handout: Colorizing Grayscale Images These exercises should take them through the week. If not they can further experiment with Photoshop on their own. They could try doing a collage – putting a group of images on one image. March Photoshop Lesson was done on Friday: Students need to complete the 3 assignments on this lesson. Students have the handout: PhotoShop Lesson on Composite Image (CS3) *Assignment Opacity: Two images combined with the background image being visible through the other image. *Assignment Feather: Design an elliptical or rectangular image with the edges faded out to white. *Assignment to be graded – Quiz grade: Put together a composite collage. Have a theme or topic for your images. Use a minimum of four images and a background. The background can be an image or a color. Use commands from this lesson and previous lessons. You may use such sources as, the Internet (list the URL), the scanner, the digital camera or images located on your computer or in Photoshop Stuff. Do not Flatten. Save As (CompositeYourInitials).75% for completing requirements, 25% for creativity, originality and use of PhotoShop tools and techniques.
